Well, January has really kicked in Winter weather, Last Friday's Fish Fry was very slow, and we stopped serving early due to the weather. We just wanted everyone to stay warm and safe. Also the attendance for the Chicken & Biscuit Dinner wasn't well attended, and I hope also due to poor weather conditions, but we had a lot of good help, thanks to all who made it to the Legion.

February looks like a really busy month. On Super Bowl Sunday, Feb 5th we will have a Super Bowl Party along with a Chicken BBQ during the day on the 5th. On Feb. 11th is a meat raffle at 1 PM, and a Sweetheart Dinner Dance in the evening, music by "Papa Joe". Tickets are available at the bar. On Feb. 12th, (Sunday) there is a 5th District Meeting at 1:00 PM and on Feb. 18th we are again hosting the New York State American Legion Air Rifle Championships. This will be starting at 8:00 AM and continuing all day. Those interested are welcomed to come out and observe. Lent starts early this year, Ash Wednesday February 22nd, and we will serving Fish Sandwiches from noon to 5:00 PM. On February 25th we will have our annual Polar Bear Horseshoe Tournament. Registration is at 11:00 AM and first pitch will be at noon. This is an outdoor event and is a lot of fun. Good food and entertainment so come on out and enjoy the fun. Several of us have been invited to attend the "27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team Deployment Ceremony" on Sunday, January 29th, and we wish them all a Safe and Successful Deployment. As you can see this is a very busy post, so please come in and enjoy Your Post, and have a great time
