The new 2012 membership cards are here, so be on the lookout for your renewal notice. Anyone who hasn’t received a renewal letter please let me know ASAP. If you have a new address let me know so I can get your renewal out to you. Remember you cannot drink at the Legion if you do not have a current card. I will give the list of unpaid member to the bartenders and they will not serve you until you pay your dues. We still have a few Sons emails that are not working. If you are not getting yours by email please let me know. Anyone who is not receiving your newsletter via e-mail please drop me a note and we will get it fixed. Please send in your dues so we can reach 100% before February. We still have 52 who have not renewed yet. Attention all Sons, we have the third Wednesday night bingo at the legion. We need more help 3-7:30. We need help with set up as well as in the kitchen.

We need more Sons to attend our meetings we have a busy year ahead of us. The Midwinter Conference is coming in January 27TH – 29TH. The new Sons shirts will be in this week for those who ordered them. We will be taking more orders for anyone wishing to order one see Bill or sign up on sheet at Legion.

If any Sons Member would like anything put in our news, please let me know. You can leave me a note in our mailbox or call me 679-8361 and we will get it in the newsletter. We would like to see as many Sons attend these meeting so we can get some new ideas of things to do. We have a very busy year ahead so please come and help. Here is a list of the next few meetings. THEY START AT 7:30, NOTE THEY ARE ON TUESDAYS NOW.

The next meeting will be January 24th. I would also like to extend my thanks to all of the Sons who have helped with our fund raisers. There seems to always be the same few members who help. More of the Sons need to pitch in too. A signup sheet to help with the upcoming Chicken BBQ will be posted on Wednesday January 18. Mark your calendars for Super Bowl Sunday, February 5. All Sons are urged to come help make this the biggest BBQ event yet.

 We will need people all day beginning 6:00 a.m. going through clean up. Every hour you can help, helps us all. We also need people every Friday until the BBQ to sell advanced sale tickets. Gary will be the DJ for us. I would like to thank the BBQ committee for doing an outstanding job. Lastly and most importantly everyone keep the 427th Brigade in your prayers and thoughts. They will be deploying later this month. Some of these troops are our own members.
